COMTO Central Florida is a dynamic, multi-modal transportation organization that provides leadership programs as well as advocacy services to businesses, members and communities within the Central Florida area including but not limited to; Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Hardee, Highlands, Polk, Pasco, Pinellas, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sarasota Counties.

Purpose Statement

The purpose of the COMTO Central Florida Chapter is: to promote better conditions, circumstances and an environment under which all minority groups may achieve meaningful representation, participation and beneficial results arising out of, and in connection with, the operation of designated public or private transportation facilities of all modes. Designated facilities are defined as:

(a) those facilities which are the direct or indirect beneficiaries of, and participants in, United States federal, state/territorial and local government funding, and
(b) those facilities impacted by federal, state/territorial and local transportation legislation involving highways, railroads, waterways, air transportation and mass transportation.
